Chris Wilson

Salem – Christopher “Chris” Gurley Wilson, 65, husband of the late Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Rhyne Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, April 6^th, 2022 at Prisma Health – Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in North Carolina, Chris was the son of the late Bill Wilson and Margie Poole Wilson.  Chris was retired from Duke Power where he was a welder.

 

Chris is survived by sons, James Wilson and wife Kristin, Joseph Wilson and wife Nikki, Josh Wilson and wife Jennifer; daughter, Crystol Vicente and husband Miguel; brothers, Eddie Wilson, Mark Wilson, Phillip Wilson, Lloyd Cannon; and grandchildren; James “JJ”, Katherin, Jaxson, Jodon, Stella, Grayson, Janie Beth, Emma, Noah, Jonah, Dylan, Savannah, and Michael.

 

In addition to his wife and parents, Chris is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Wilson; and sisters, Mary Barnwell and Emily Cannon.

 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
