Charles McAlister

Westminster – Charles Junior McAlister,78, husband of the late Alice Eunice Cromer McAlister, passed away on Saturday, March 9^th, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born May 3^rd, 1945, in Seneca, South Carolina, Charles was the son of the late Agnes McAlister. Charles was a United States Army Veteran, who retired from JP Stevens. He was an avid Gamecock fan, who enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Nascar.

 

Charles is survived by his sons, Charles “Chuck” McAlister and wife Selene of Easley, Jason

McAlister and wife Kimberly of Seneca; daughter, Katherine McAlister of Westminster; six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

 

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, and a sister, Brenda Evatt.  

 

A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 pm, Tuesday, March 12^th, 2024 at First Baptist Memorial Park with Full Military Honors. The Family will receive friends, prior to the service, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 12^th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
