Charles “Chuck” King

Westminster – Charles Anthony “Chuck” King, 62, passed away on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Chuck was born in Oconee County, and was the son of the late Francis M. “Buddy” King Sr. and Leona “Tina” Thompson King.  Chuck was a retired truck driver, a member of the Westminster Masonic Lodge, a Shriner, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

 

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Lynette King Tuner; companion, Marla Deaton; two grandchildren, Abigail Rose “Abby” Turner and Skylar McKern; brother, Frances M. “Buddy Jr.” King; sister, Maria Antoinette “Candy” Locklear; and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents and grandmother, Rosa B. Thompson, Chuck is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby King.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, 7:00 pm, Friday, August 27th, 2021, at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm, at Sandifer Funeral Home prior to the service.

 

Due to Covid-19 pandemic and concerns for health of family and friends, Chuck’s family respectfully ask that all who attend the service please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
