Charles “Alan” Ridley

Walhalla, SC– Charles “Alan” Ridley, 58, wife of Anita Reyes Ridley, of 365 Stewart Road, Walhalla, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. Ridley was the son of the late William Lloyd Ridley and Emma Sue Dillard Cooper. He worked for the City of Westminster as a supervisor of the Water Department and was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Mr. Ridley was a member of the Blue Ridge Masonic Lodge #92 and the Hejaz Shrine Temple.

 

In addition to his wife, Mr. Ridley is survived by his son: Hunter Pope of the home; daughter: Savannah Miller (Brett) of Westminster, SC; brothers: Ronnie Dillard and Kenny Ridley both of Walhalla, SC; granddaughter: Millie Miller; and great-niece: Alyssa Cooper.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ridley was preceded in death by his sister: Regina Ridley.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Davenport Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
