Charges placed against woman who fled crime scene

Oconee sheriff’s records show a suspect fought deputies, ran across a cemetery into woods before being arrested yesterday in what started as an arson investigation near Salem.  Warrants accuse Autumn Renee Kiser of second degree burglary and malicious injury to personal property.  A deputy quotes a resident of N. Lake Drive as saying that, after being away for a few weeks, she returned to her home near the Little River Road and found a woman attempting to set her back yard on fire.  The warrant charging 27-year old Kiser with malicious damage alleges she damaged household items and documents by burning them in the yard.
