Charges filed in alleged Greenwich Drive incident

The police in Walhalla are announcing arrests and charges against two city residents as part of the investigation of incidents last month at a Greenwich Drive residential address.  Multiple charges, including petty larceny and assault and battery third degree, were placed against Megan Cheyenne Summerlin, 25 years old.  A second woman, Alicia Brooke Wilbanks, 20 years old, was charged with malicious injury to real property.  The investigation started November 15 when the police responded to a crime in progress at a Greenwich Drive home near N. Catherine Street/SC 183 and spoke with four complainants.  The police quoted them as saying two people were assaulted and two cell phones were stolen.  According to police, the phones were seized later from a West Union area home.
