Chairman Graham: “Today is a great day” (Barr confirmation)

Senator Lindsey Graham, chairman of his chamber’s Judiciary Committee, calls it a “great day”—because President Trump’s nominee for attorney general was confirmed in a 56-45. Meaning William Barr is to be the next attorney general of the United States. Graham, Republican from Oconee County, says the best indication of what Barr will do is to draw on his previous attorney general during the administrator of President Bush 41. Democrats have raised questions about Barr’s position of being willing to release a summary of the Russian influence investigation instead of a full report.
