The jury in General Sessions Court today returned a quick verdict against Curtis Eugene Land of Brown Street, Seneca arrested in September 2011 and charged with burglarizing a home in Oakway. Victim was 54-year old man

Oconee Coroner Karl Addis says the victim of the early morning car accident near Salem was Jerry Lee Rowland, 54, of Salem.  Rowland was found dead at the scene of the accident on the Mack Reid Road at the Haney Road.  Addis said he learned the accident was discovered by a Rowland relative.
