A former Walhallan has attained advancement in her employment with Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood. Donna Foster moves up from dean of arts and sciences to associate vice president of institutional assessment and compliance. Foster graduated from Walhalla High, and then earned bachelor’s and masters degrees at Clemson University and recently completed her doctorate from the University of South Carolina.

A new, 12-passenger van to transport Oconee veterans to the government health care they require was dedicated during ceremony in Walhalla, attended by dignitaries that traveled from as far as Greenville and Columbia, including Harmon Evans, president of the S.C. Traffic fatality in Easley

An Easley teenager lost his life in a car accident late Monday night in his hometown. According to Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley, the victim was 16-year old Kevin Daryl McNab. Kelley said McNab was ejected from his vehicle and landed beneath it at S.C. 183 and the Jameson Road.
