SC gets $1 million to train dis-located workers

The S-C Department of Employment and Workforce has been awarded $1.2 million from the U-S Department of Labor to provide 223 dis-located persons with classroom and on-the-job training. July 4 closings

Many regular government services take a holiday tomorrow to allow the employees time to spend the 4th with their families and loved ones. All Oconee Solid Waste facilities will be closed. All Oconee branch libraries are closed tomorrow, but will reopen at normal time Friday. Seneca City Hall and Tri-County Technical College are closed for the 4th of July.
