An Army paratrooper who graduated three years ago from West-Oak High School has returned to the U-S after an overseas deployment as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Army Spec. Damian DesMarais (Day-muh-ray) is an infantryman assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
