Graduation day at Clemson University

It’s graduation day at Clemson University. More than 1,100 students are to receive diplomas in ceremonies at the Littlejohn Coliseum. Yesterday James Barker, the retiring Clemson president, thanked the faculty and staff during what was his last general faculty meeting. About 100 people attended the meeting held at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.

Oconee County will get a smaller jail than first planned and at a lower cost than first estimated.
