Tuesday’s results stand

Apparently it’s now official. Paul Cain is the Oconee County councilman-elect from District Three. Joy Brooks, elections director, said this morning that, with no provisional ballots to canvass, Tuesday’s unofficial results stand. Cain’s winning total was 309 votes. Ernest Riley received 269. 246 grams of marijuana seized in I-85 drug bust

 A traffic stop by Oconee deputies this week on I-85 resulted in drug charges against an Atlanta Metro area woman and the seizure of 246 grams of marijuana.
