Sirens around Oconee Nuclear Station will be tested this morning at approximately 11:50. No public action is required during the three-minute test. By testing the sirens, state and county officials and Duke Energy ensure the sirens are operating properly. The full-siren test is performed once every three months. County officials are responsible for sounding the sirens.
