 Walhalla celebrates the country’s birthday on Independence Eve. Vanessa Penton of the Greater Walhalla Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone at 6 o’clock Thursday evening for the fun, the food and the fireworks. The Oconee County Sheriff’s office has arrested a Seneca man on charges of manufacturing marijuana.
