A West-Oak High School graduate has been killed in a car accident in Abbeville County. Authorities have identified Jonathan McClure as the victim of last evening’s accident. Corp. General Sessions Court this week

Two charges against defendant Carrie Leigh Tyner top the docket for a term this week of the Oconee General Sessions Court. The docket calls for the state to present armed robbery and assault and battery second degree charges against Tyner. Court opens this morning, with 10th Circuit Judge Lawton McIntosh presiding.

Moper rider hurt in Seneca

A passenger on a moped required emergency hospital treatment this afternoon after an accident at a Seneca traffic light intersection. The police say the accident occurred late this morning when the moped bumped a car that had come to a stop at a red light at Wells Highway and S. Radio Station Road.
