The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has received word that 15 year old Caroline Sally Hand has been located in the city of Anderson and is safe. The Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation into the matter.  The girl was reported missing this morning.

The newly-elected chairperson for the five-member Oconee County Council, Edda Cammick, says it’s her hope that a replacement for Beth Hulse, who resigned as Clerk to Council, will be named during a February meeting.  Meantime, Amanda Brock, administrative assistant to the county administrator, will handle the duties.

A late night home fire in Seneca.  City fire fighters received a call to E-N 2nd Street shortly after 9:30 last night.  The first call indicated flames seen in the house.
