Oconee joblessness drops below 4%

Fewer jobless claims are being filed by Oconee County residents.  According to the state Department of Employment and Workforce, November unemployment in the county stood at 3.8%–equivalent to 1,353 county residents who are out of work but actively searching for new work.  Oconee’s employed labor force was 33,842.
