Oconee teacher accepted for science training

A teacher Walhalla’s James Brown Elementary, Betsy Drake, has been accepted to Roper Mountain Science Training this summer in Greenville.  In a typical day, Drake teaches science to three different grades.  Her class is a self-contained class of students who need hands on materials in order to fully understand the concepts.  She’s looking forward to the professional development training.
