Pioneer plant targeted to start late this month

Final laboratory approval for Pioneer Rural Water’s new treatment plant is expected Thursday, June 20, and the Pioneer general manager expects the plant to be put into operation the following week. Terry Pruitt, the Pioneer manager, says during the testing period the treatment facility off highway 59 has been producing 1.5 million gallons a day.
