The South Carolina Drought Response Committee, meeting via conference call on Sept. 18, upgraded the drought status for 11 counties and downgraded the status for four counties in the state. A mystery this evening on Lake Keowee, near Seneca. A vehicle, apparently attached to a trailer, has been found submerged at the end of Lakeshore Drive, about 1/4 mile from SC 130. No bodies have been found, nor anyone to tell authorities what happened, or when it happened.
