Career Fair is tomorrow at the Oconee Law Enforcement Center

If you’ve ever thought that you might like a career in Oconee County law enforcement, tomorrow is a chance for you to explore that notion and, at the least, put in an application.  Job resumes are welcome tomorrow from 10 am until 2 pm during a career fair at the county Law Enforcement Center in Walhalla.  The county sheriff’s office is looking for good young men and women dedicated to serving the public in its important public safety agency.  If at all interested, just show during that four-hour period.  There, some of the most important sheriff’s vehicles will be on display.  Computers will be set up to make a job application online.  Among job opportunities are deputy sheriffs, jail guards, 9-1-1 tele-communicators, and animal control officers.
