Car driver temporarily evades arrest

A midnight hour traffic stop in Seneca on the 123 By-Pass led to the arrest of a driver on three charges.  Chief Bowling released law enforcement records showing the arrest of E. Main Street resident Rodman Karlise Rivera on charges of resisting arrest, drug possession, and trafficking in cocaine.  The responding officer recieved K-9 assistance.  According to the case report, Rivera allegedly tried to flee, but was caught after a short chase.  The police said a Taser was used to stop further resistance.
