Car driver killed near Six Mile

The state patrol reports the driver of a compact car has died in a head-on accident last night on SC 137 near Six Mile.  The deceased was operating a Hyundai Elantra.  A passenger was sent for hospital treatment.  Trooper Gary Miller said the other vehicle was a Dodge Ram.  Miller is deferring to the Pickens County Coroner for an announcement on the identity of the deceased.
