Car and truck crash, tools going flying

No one was hurt in the crash early yesterday afternoon of a car and a truck about midway between Seneca and Clemson on the 123 highway.  The accident at the traffic lights at Wells Highway involved a car and a pickup truck.  In the bed of that pickup, according to the highway patrol spokesman, there was “every tool known to mankind” and the tools wound up all over the highway, forcing eastbound motorists to detour onto Wells Highway. Corp. Matt Southerlin said some of the debris struck a parked vehicle.  The accident was reported at 1:07, but it remained a cleanup scene for about one hour.
