Campaign signs disappeare from medians

Campaign signs, some of them, have disappeared from Walhalla’s Main Street grass medians–although the candidates in the November election are under no obligation to remove them.  At least two city council candidates–incumbent David Underwood and political newcomer Charles Morgan–have said they would take down or have taken down their signs on public property.  They say they feel a duty in the spirit of Octoberfest weekend (October 18-20) which serves as a showcase of their city to visitors.
