C-L Wilbanks

 

Fair Play – CL Willbanks, 85, husband of Betty Richardson Wilbanks, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

 

CL was born in Long Creek and was the son of the late Clem and Ellen Blackwell Wilbanks. CL retired from Clemson University where he was a Maintenance Technician, he was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and attended Beaverdam Baptist Church. CL loved fishing, singing Gospel music, and enjoyed fixing things.

 

CL is survived by his by beloved wife, Betty Richardson Wilbanks; children, Pamela Boggs (Larry), Celeste Wilbanks, Charles Wilbanks, step-children, Dale Herring (JoAnne), Vickie Burns; sixteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents, CL is preceded in death by a son, Roy Wilbanks; and a sister, Louise Wilbanks.

 

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
