Bumpier, but safer rides ahead on Seneca street

Bumpier, but safer rides are ahead for motorists who use a Seneca street that connects with Perkins Creek Road and WS 4th Street. After Scott Moulder, the city administrator, announced that the city had been petitioned by 38 of 43 property owners in the home development Madison Pointe, the city will order two speed bumps for the purpose of improving traffic safety on Madison Pointe Drive. “There would not be asphalt,” Moulder said. “They make a composite speed bump. They actually fasten onto the asphalt, so they can be taken up at a later time if the neighborhood chooses they don’t want or need them anymore.” The new speed limit on Madison Pointe Drive will be 25 mph.
