Bronson succeeds Moulder at the sewer authority

Westminster’s first-year administrator, Kevin Bronson, moved into the chairman’s position of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority, after an attempt failed to return last year’s chairman, Seneca’s Scott Moulder, and last year’s other officeholders.  Moulder’s Seneca colleague, Bob Faires, moved to keep last year’s board officers, but withdrew his motion when it was evident that Walhalla’s Scott Parris had something else in mind.  Parris nominated Westminster’s Bronson and the change was agreed to.  Parris will serve as vice chairman.  The change is open to the interpretation of the divide between Seneca and Westminster and Walhalla as to which part of the county gets the most voting clout on sewer policies.  When one Seneca councilman was told by this reporter of the chairmanship change, he said, “I figured that would happen.”
