Bond lowered for child sex defendant

A Walhalla man left court yesterday in better shape than which he entered. Represented by attorney Suzanne Earle, defendant Brian Douglas Feole saw his bond lowered by $90 thousand dollars. The bond had been set at $240 thousand to cover charges of the sexual exploitation of minors in the third degree. Earle called $240 thousand “totally out of reach” for a man who is on disability. Feole was arrested in October in an investigation involving the Oconee Sheriff’s Office and the Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force. Bethany Miles of the office of the state Attorney’s General Office told Judge Maddox the case involves allegations of the transmission of child pornography. No trial date was announced.
