Boil water in Clemson’s Monaco Estates

Clemson has announced the extension of a boil water advisory covering those in one of its neighborhoods. Customers in Monaco Estates should vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking. Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes. The advisory is a precaution only—the result of a water main break on Monaco Circle. Clemson plans to collect water samples in the area. The testing should be completed by today and posted to the City of Clemson website.
