Billy Reid
Westminster – Billy Joe Reid, 86, husband of Sara Collins Reid, passed away on Monday, February 27th, 2023 at his residence.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Billy was the son of the late Cliff Reid and Gladys Graham Reid. Billy was the owner and operator of Green Low Dairy Farms and a United States Air Force Veteran. Billy was a carpenter who enjoyed wood working, an avid gardener who loved sharing the fruits of his labor with others, and the thing he enjoyed most was his morning coffee time with his fellow farmers and friends at the café.
Billy is survived by his wife of 63 years; daughters, Frankie Ables (Alan), Myra Hyde (James); brothers, John Reid, Jerry Reid; sisters, Hazel Guyton, Glenda Jones, Patsy Hubbard; grandchildren, Jessica Ables Norris (Tony), Ben Ables (Nicki), Joseph Hyde (Jessica), Lynn Price, William Price; and great-grandchildren, Carter Norris, Chesney Norris, Collin Norris, Karson Ables, Atticus Singleton, and Allysa Singleton.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home with visitation to follow service.
