Beulah Haney

 

Westminster – Beulah Elizabeth Marcengill Haney, 83, wife of the late George Haney, passed away, Saturday, March 20th, 2021 at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House.

 

Beulah was born in Oconee County, and she was the daughter of the late Samuel Edward and Beulah Aerola Richey Marcengill. Beulah retired from Dunlap where she worked in quality control. Beulah had a great love for reading, cooking, baking and crocheting, but her greatest love was giving back to others and she was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include her son, Eddie Brady (Kimberly) of Mountain Rest; daughter, Kimberly Hurtado (Ron) of West Point; step-son, Patrick “Pat” Haney of Houstin, Texas; brothers, R.B Marcengill of Townville, John Henry Marcengill of Westminster; six grandchildren, Christopher Cryer (Katrina), Nathan Brady, Samuel Brady, Victoria Hurtado, Eduard Hurtado, Jonathan Hurtado, Anita Hurtado; three great grandchildren, Carlton Brady, Aiden Cryer, Atlas Cryer.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her, step-daughters, Terri Gayle Houston; step-son, Michael Haney; infant baby boy; brothers, Martin, Clyde, Albert, Bud, Ira, Ray, Granville “Skip” Marcengill; sisters, Elise Marcengill, Marie Riddle, Ollie Smith, Robbie Collins, and Rena Harrison.

 

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 27th, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum chapel with entombment to follow. The family will receive friends 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm to the service at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
