Beulah Chappell
Westminster – Mary Beulah McAlister Chappell, 86, wife of the late Jessie Lee Chappell, passed away Monday, October 12th, 2020 at Condor Health Anderson in Anderson South Carolina.
Beulah was born in Stephens County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Garnett and Mary Ellen Murray McAlister. She enjoyed reading and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Beulah is survived by daughters, Earleen Davis and husband Ricky of Westminster, Lucille Pelfrey and husband James of Walhalla; brothers, Joe McAlister, Charles McAlister; sisters Betty Barker, Fannie Lou Smith, Martha Pelfrey; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Beulah is preceded in death her husband, Jessie Lee Chappell; son, Junior Lee Chappell; brothers, James McAlister, Frank McAlister; sister, Emily Bramlett, and a grandson, James Allen Davis.
A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm, Wednesday, October 14th, 2020 prior to the service.
