Betty Smith
Westminster- Betty Lou Smith, 77, passed away on Monday, August 15th, 2022.
Born in Oconee County, Betty was the daughter of the late Albert and Louise Sullivan Smith. Betty worked 48 ½ years at Kendall-Covidien. She loved motorcycles, had a great love for animals, but most of all she loved her family. Betty was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, loved her church family and her pastor Steve Roberts.
Betty leaves behind a loving sister, Margaret Smith, a special sister Faye and Johnny Kelley. She loved her special nieces and nephews, Kim and James Sears, Keith and Sherry Smith; great nieces and nephews, Kasey Smith (Kasalyn), Austin Smith (Madison), Brooke McCall (Leslie), Emily Hardwick (Chris); and great-great nieces and nephews, Nash and Emerald Smith, Russell and Montez McCall, and James, Eliana, and Joanna Hardwick; and special cousins Rick Owens, Sara Moore, Catherine Blackwell, Karen McGuffin, and Frances Lee.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Louise Sullivan Smith, and her brother, Tommy Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 18th, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
