Betty Roach
Westminster – Betty Jean Owens Roach, 77, wife of the late Horace H. Roach, passed away on Sunday, December 11th, 2022 at Fleetwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Betty was the daughter of the late Annie Lee Webb Owens and was raised by her grandfather, John R. Owens and her uncle, Howard Owens. Betty retired from JP Stevens and was of the Baptist faith. Betty loved dancing and jewelry.
Betty is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Ridley, Jeremy Ridley, Keith Ridley, Thomas Roach; daughter, Connie Towe; stepson, James Dodd; brothers, John Webb, George Webb; sister, Sheila Webb; grandchildren, Tonya Towe, Amanda Towe, Leanna Towe, Shylan Cantrell, Gage Roach, Emma Roach, Brandon Dodd; great-grandchildren, Latrevis Lewis, Aleighya Lewis, Ariel Lewis; and step great-grandchildren, Sarah Watkins and Hannah Watkins.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Mountain Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the service, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
