Barlow re-nominated without opposition

The longest, continuous serving member of the Pioneer Rural Water board has been re-nominated to stand for election during the water district’s annual membership meeting later this year. A resident of Rock Creek Bay this afternoon re-nominated Jerry Barlow for a new term. Barlow represents District Three on the five-member board of directors. He has been a strong supporter of the district’s treatment plant project. The plant is expected to go into operation in the next few weeks, and Barlow is anxious for the district to start retailing water that it produces on its own.
