BARBARA NICHOLS
Salem – Barbara Ann King Nichols, 54, wife of Jeff Nichols, passed away Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 at her residence.
Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Barbara was the daughter of the late Bobby Joe and Nora Beatrice King. Barbara worked in textiles at Westpoint Stevens and Johnson Controls. She was also a Mickey Mouse fanatic. Barbara was of the methodist faith.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Jeff; sons, William Miller (Brianna), and Bobby Miller (Destiny Lee); step-children, Will Nichols Jr., Christina Dyar, and Amber Taylor; brother, Danny King (Karen); sister, Tina King Blackwell (Ray); grandchildren, Nora Miller, Nellie Miller; 8 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and caretaker, Doug Brink Jr.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Alan King; and sister, Sherry King.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Oakway United Wesleyan Church.
