Barbara “Bobbie” Merchant
Seneca– Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Price Merchant, 79, wife of Rex Merchant, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Prisma Health – Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Seneca, South Carolina, Bobbie was the daughter of the late Garnett L. Price and Amy Elizabeth Roach Price. Bobbie retired from manufacturing, was of the Church of God Faith, and her greatest joy was being “Nanny” to her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband, Bobbie is survived by her sons, Roger Moore, Joey Floyd; daughters, Tina Beck, Judy Songer; grandchildren, Logan Compton (Heather), Cody Brinkley (Michelle), Jessica McKinney, Jamie Songer, Chase Floyd, Angie Compton, Veronica Beck; great-grandchildren, Jacob Palmer, Liam Compton, Daphney Ibarra, Sofia Ibarra, Carma Compton, Landon Beck, Korina Brinkley, Gabriella Brinkley, Alyssa Ibarra, Haley Ibarra, Amiee Johnson, Dawson Johnson and her great-great grandchild, Channon Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Gezel McKinney and her five siblings.
A cryptside service will be held at 3:30 pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
