Autopsy today on man found at fire scene

An autopsy is planned today on the body of an adult Caucasian male who fire fighters found at the grisly scene yesterday on Lonsdale Street in the Utica Community.  That autopsy is to assist the coroner and others as they determine the identity of the man, his age, as well as the circumstances that led to the fire and his death.  The fire-destroyed house was abandoned and the victim apparently was a homeless individual.  Coroner Karl Addis said, “We have information which we are following up on to assist with making a positive identification.”
