Increasing Oconee County COVID-19 cases is the reason that the Friends of the Library has called off plans for two book sales in July.  The book sales were to have taken place on July 9 and 25.

A Lake Keowee restaurant has closed temporarily.  Officials at the Lighthouse say the restaurant will be closed today and tomorrow “due to the ever-changing circumstances of late we feel the need to modify our service in hopes to better accommodate, keep safe, and provide a quality service.”  Lighthouse plans to re-open Wednesday.
