Monday’s South Carolina (and Oconee) COVID numbers

South Carolina DHEC announced 539 new, confirmed cases and 11 additional, confirmed deaths today from COVID-19.  Thirteen new Oconee cases reported, but no additional deaths from the county.  The numbers bring South Carolina confirmed cases to 157,970 and deaths at 3,449.  The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC Sunday statewide was 4,762 and the positivity was 11.3%.

  A midnight hour disturbance at a nightspot remained a police investigation yesterday in Seneca.  The police call what happened a parking lot fight at Mullen’s Irish Pub that caused minor injuries to five people.  They believe the injuries started with a parking lot car accident.  Other details yesterday remained unclear.
