Saturday’s South Carolina COVID report

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Carolina have once again surpassed 1,000 for a 24-hour period. DHEC Saturday announced 1,250 new confirmed cases and 42 additional confirmed deaths.  This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 115,661 and 2.653 confirmed deaths. Phone and internet now restored

Telephone and internet service has been restored to the complex of the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority at Seneca.  Service was disrupted Wednesday when a grass cutter hit a fiber optic line.  The JRSA is back to normal operations.  But access to the complex remains restricted to control the spread of COVID-19. control the spread of COVID-19.
