Seneca’s chief of police Casey Bowling confirms his department has reports of a black bear seen in recent days in the Adams subdivision south of the railroad, and residents there are on watch.  One homeowner tells us the bear yesterday visited backyard bird feeder on Ploma Drive.  Several are said to have seen it on Pine Street near 4th Street.
