Here are the latest COVID-19 numbers reported today by South Carolina DHEC that reflect a 24-hour count that ended 11:59 Sunday night:  New cases:  192, seven of them in Oconee.  No new deaths statewide.  Of 10,202 test results, the positivity:  4.1%.

A fifth grader at the Fair-Oak Elementary School, Aubree Davis, is the Elementary Division winner in a youth art show of the state Art Education Association.  Aubree’s acrylic painting, “Donkey”, was first place among eight elementary finalists statewide.  Her piece was awarded first among 75 elementary entries in the western region, and that qualified her for the state show.

While supplies last, food is being given away in downtown Westminster.  A USDA Farmers to Families food box distribution is taking place at the Depot, at 129 E. Main Street.
