Work resumes for intersection rebuild

Road construction has resumed at a three-way Clemson intersection.  Over the next few weeks, expect lane closures or delays, or both, on Cherry Road, W. Cherry Road, and Old Stone Church Road.  City of Clemson says when the work is finished, new traffic patterns will take effect and it’s likely drivers will have to adjust to the new pattern.

Fatal accident Friday near Townville

An accident at mid-day Friday took the life of a young Anderson man.  The victim was 20-year-old Dallas Allen Lee Campbell.  The state patrol reported Campbell lost control of his car on the Dobbins Bridge Road.  According to the coroner’s office, speed appears to have been a major factor in the accident just before noon on Friday.
