Thieves raid the canteen room at Chickasaw Point. Oconee sheriff’s officers are looking for the person or persons responsible for a crime this week in the canteen room by the swimming pool of a Lake Hartwell home development. Someone apparently pried a lock off the door and swiped a cash register, along with the nightly cash deposit of $150 dollars.
