A sizzling July 4 weekend!

Walhalla has recorded its first 100-degree day of the summer.  The thermometer hit the century mark on Sunday, according to Barbara Wilson, the U-S Weather Observer.  And it’s likely it won’t be the last 100-degree day of the summer, if the forecast for late this week proves true.  The official high for Walhalla for Independence Day yesterday was 96 degrees.
