Council members beach-bound

Members of Oconee County Council will attend the annual conference of the South Carolina Association of Counties July 30 through August 3 at the Marriott Beach & Golf Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.  The meeting includes the Institute of Government for County Official continuing education classes and events.

Libraries getting a brighter look

  Oconee County workers are refurbishing and retrofitting ceiling lights in three of the county’s library facilities.  Maintenance workers are replacing 48 can lights in the Walhalla, Westminster and Seneca libraries.
