Duke partners with Friends of Lake Keowee

Duke Energy workers met a volunteer initiative during May by taking part in a company-sponsored litter pickup along the shorelines of Lake Keowee.  They also helped Friends of Lake Keowee place fish attractors underneath a lake fishing pier.  On behalf of those Duke volunteers, the company awarded a $500 dollar grant to “FOLKS.”

Traffic fatality south of Seneca
